	Name: Innes Smith Age: 36 From: Sydney via London Goals: Love to get sub 36 hrs but finish is the first goal. Would love to run the Spartathlon one day and this race is the perfect entry into it. Broke my hip 9 months ago and with 3 pins holding my left hip together it will be "interesting" to see how it feels after 200 k:) Words: We run, not because we think it is doing us good, but because we enjoy it and cannot help ourselves...The more restricted our society and work become, the more necessary it will be to find some outlet for this craving for freedom. No one can say, 'You must not run faster than this, or jump higher than that.' The human spirit is indomitable. C2K history: Withdrew at Jindabyne in the 2007 race. It was an amazing experience and taught me a lot.

Family and work take up a lot of time and running allows me to escape everything. No better feeling than being "out there" running for the pure pleasure and satisfaction that comes through suffering.
